With the relatively small displacement of the SR20 in mind, the engineers at Weldspeed set out to develop a manifold that would help the engine produce as much torque and power as possible, without compromising volumetric efficiency at higher engine speeds.
 
This was achieved by carefully tuning the length and shape of the runners, promoting high air velocity and optimising cylinder filling throughout the engine's rev range. Unlike short runner manifolds, which tend to favour extreme engine speeds, we wanted to create a true performance product that not only looked good, but it also packaged well and performed better than any other offering.
 
The manifold is cast as a single piece from A356 aluminium, incorporating the complex runner geometry into a strong and lightweight package.
The base is designed to suit the SR20VE P11 cylinder head, with P12 and S14/S15 applications supported by using our "wet" adapter plate.
 
A range of throttle bodies can be fitted, including popular Bosch DBW throttles. The manifold is compact enough for easy installation in Nissan's S-chassis, while also making an excellent choice for early Datsun engine conversions.
 
Each manifold includes a black anodised billet fuel rail with stands for 3/4 and full-length injectors, Viton O-rings and assorted vacuum fittings. Powder-coat finishes are available in Silver, Black or Red.
